The 2014 Annual Meeting of the Balkan Heritage Field School

The Annual meeting of the BHFS Advisory Board along with presentation of the results in the past season took place in Sofia, on 20 December, 2014. It was attended by all the BHFS Advisory Board members except Dr. Daniela Cherneva and Ms. Silvana Blazhevska. They discussed the past season and voted for development of new strategic partnerships.    

   

Later the Dig and Project Directors presented the following presentations before the BHFS affiliates:    

  • The Excavation and Field School Projects in Ilindentsi, Bulgaria in 2014 by Dr. Malgorzata Grebska-Kulova;

       

  • The Excavation and Field School Projects at Tell Yunatiste, Bulgaria in 2014 by Dr. Kamen Boyadzhiev;

       

  • The Conservation, Excavation and Field School Projects related to Apollonia Pontica, Bulgaria in late 2013 - 2014 by Dr. Krastina Panayotova;

       

  • The Excavation and Field School Projects in Pistiros, Bulgaria in 2014 by Dr. Alexey Gotsev;

       

  • The Conservation, Excavation and Field School Projects related to Stobi, Republic of Macedonia in 2014 by Angela Pencheva; 

       

  • Photo-documentation project of the Sveta Petka Church in Balsha in 2014 by Dr. George Bevan.
