Balkan Heritage Field School Workshop on Roman Mosaics in Stobi in the latest ICCM Newsletter

Angela Pencheva (Program Director of the Balkan Heritage Foundation) presented the collaboration project of Balkan Heritage Foundation and National Institution Stobi - Conservation and Documentation of Roman and late Roman Mosaics at the 12th Conference of the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM): Conservation and Presentation of Mosaics: At What Costs? held in Sardinia (Italy) on October 27-31, 2014. The invitation came from the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici per le province di Sassari e Nuoro (Ministero dei Beni, delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo). The conference was supported by the University of Sassari, the Getty Conservation Institute and the University of Cyprus and got together some of the world's most prominent mosaic conservators and restores. A review of the collaboration project was published on pp. 20-21 in the latest issue of the Newsletter of the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics - http://www.iccm.ac.cy/…/F…/Newsletter/Newsletter%20No_14.pdf
