The archaeological exhibition The Saga of the Thracian Kings - Archaeological Discoveries in Bulgaria explores the Thracian civilization and the neighboring Ancient Greek colonies. On display at the Louvre, Paris are more than 1600 impressive artifacts from 17 Bulgarian museums, the Louvre, the British Museum, the Archaeological Museum in Naples, the Archaeological Museum in Bari, the Glyptotek in Copenhagen, etc. Among them are artifacts from the Ancient Greek colony Apollonia Pontica and the emporion Pistiros where the Balkan Heritage Field School archaeological projects take place - what is more, some of these artifacts now exhibited at the Louvre, were found by the BHFS participants during our Field School there.
