Balkan Heritage Excursions and field trips

Apart from excursions that are included in projects' schedules Balkan Heritage also organizes:
  • Short-term excursions (up to 4 days) upon request for individuals or groups. Usually they supplement a project’s program, but their cost is not included in the admission fee!
  • Cultural tours in South-eastern Europe (up to 2 weeks) for small groups (up to 7 participants). Cultural tours make our guests discover various "hidden" cultural treasures of the area not only through sightseeing, but also through behind-the-scenes visits and experiencing of "good life" secrets (spa, wine tasting, clubbing etc.). BH cultural excursions are guided by professional tour guides, but the guests will be accompanied by BH archaeologists and art historians.
  • Field trips (from 7 to 40 days) - these are actually Balkan Heritage team prep expeditions. Their main goal is to prepare for field school project/s in areas and countries that have not been included in the Balkan Heritage program before. Sometimes, the thematic field trips are opened to limited number of participants who are not BH affiliates but are able to prove their motivation, knowledge and experience to join them. These prep expeditions usually combine: ambitious itineraries, long journeys, adventures, flexible agenda, English speaking guides, not luxurious accommodations, great experience and many, many new friends.
